We had the privilege to present the Major Adult Recognition to one of our local residents from Portarlington who fitted the above criteria well and truly.
David Waters due to cancer on his throat can no longer talk. This has not stopped him from advocating for the disadvantaged here and overseas. Recently having finished working for World Vision due to the return of his cancer so is now spending valuable time with his family and friends.
We are very proud to have a local person to be able to nominate. David is an unassuming man with an amazing smile and an acceptance of his journey.
